E-safety comic

Εικόνα
For the January activity of our eTwinning project   "Lost Dogs: A Journey Back Home" , students from Spain, Poland, and Greece will embark on an exciting creative task. Each country will illustrate an eSafety online scenario involving one of the dogs traveling abroad. Spain  will create a comic featuring  Oddie , exploring an online safety situation he might encounter on his journey. Greece  will design a comic for  Cody , imagining how he navigates a digital challenge safely. Poland  will craft a comic for  Bobbie , showcasing his experiences with online interactions. The comics will be created using the online app  Storyjumper , where students will bring their ideas to life with vibrant illustrations and engaging narratives. This activity aims to combine creativity with an important lesson in online safety, teaching students how to stay safe in the digital world while fostering collaboration and cultural exchange among the partner schools...

What's the matter Bobbie, Cody, Oddie?

November Activity 2 As the temperatures drop and our dogs start to feel more comfortable with the classroom and our students, unfortunately Oddie (Kallithea), Bobbie (Spain) and Cody (Poland) are not feeling well. This is why we need to learn some doctor-related vocabulary words - to better understand what is going on, as, oddly enough, they seem to be facing a different medical problem every day in the middle week of November. Our eTwinning students will take part in an interactive and collaborative speaking activity with students from Spain, Poland and Greece. Each country will ask about the condition of a dog from another country and receive an answer. This will allow us to complete an interactive activity and report on the illnesses of our three dogs during the month.

1st students' online meeting

Εικόνα
On November 14th, the first online meeting of the students took place. (Spain, Poland, Greece) Although our microphone did not work for our students to introduce themselves, it was an experience that strengthened international ties and intercultural understanding. During the meeting, the students had the opportunity to get to know their new friends better and share fun moments. The main activity was a Kahoot game, created together with the daily routine texts that each student had written during their English sessions. The goal of the game was to guess which student had written each sentence, adding an element of surprise and friendly competition that kept the excitement going until the end. These types of activities not only improve students’ language and digital skills, but also strengthen their ability to work as a team, develop social skills and appreciate cultural diversity. We are very proud of the work our students have done and the strong connections built with schools in...
